First and foremost, it’s important to note that both Kazuha and Alhaitham are sword-wielding characters, so their signature weapons are also swords.

However, due to their different focuses, their weapons have different effects. The Freedom-Sworn leans more towards team support, while the Light of Foliar Incision enhances the user’s DPS.

Enhancements Provided by the Signature Weapons

In the current version, both Kazuha and Alhaitham benefit greatly from Dendro element and Elemental Mastery.

The enhancements brought by their signature weapons are evident, so let’s take a look at the unique features of these two weapons:

Freedom-Sworn: It provides high base EM and offers excellent supportive effects. With it, Kazuha can effortlessly activate the weapon’s skill effect after using Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst to trigger elemental reactions. When paired with Kazuha’s own Elemental DMG bonus, it can bring significant benefits to the entire team. However, it’s important to note that the team comp should prioritize characters with strong Normal Attack, Charged Attack, and Plunging Attack to fully utilize the effects of the Freedom-Sworn.

Light of Foliar Incision: It enhances Alhaitham’s main damage sources, which heavily rely on Elemental Mastery. The weapon’s skill effect increases Normal Attack and Elemental Skill damage based on Elemental Mastery, providing a significant boost to Alhaitham’s overall DPS. Compared to other weapons, the enhancement is quite noticeable. Additionally, it provides a certain amount of CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, reducing Alhaitham’s requirement on artifacts. This allows for more flexibility in artifact choices and opens up the possibility of selecting support characters to focus on direct damage.
